- All 33C93A chips have bugs. The -04 has bugs, the -08 has bugs.
- All 33C93A chips may cause bus lockups if the driver software doesn't
- know how to handle the bugs.

- Many people use a -04 with multiple devices without any problem.
- Some people used a -08 and experienced problems. It is not true
- that a -08 solves all problems of the -04.

- Conclusion: if the chip you have works for you then you do not need
- to change it for a different version with different bugs. If you
- do change it then there is still a risk that problems remain or
- that new problems show up.
